This scoop neck top is super soft (made with organic cotton), and fits very well. It contours your body well, but also has a loose, comfortable cut. You can wear it with anything. I like red, but it comes in more colors.

MUD JEANS is a great, conscious company that recycles old jeans into new jeans. They also have a clothing program wear you can trade in old jeans for new ones whenever you feel (there is a small membership fee, though). Jeans are a staple fashion item. These have a vintage look, are made with recycled textiles, and fit super well.

Everyone has their favorite pair of socks, these are mine (and now hopefully, perhaps, yours!). Organic cotton is super soft and these socks fit well around the my calf and arch. I also like the patterns. They come in more patterns and styles, though. Importantly, PACT is also a great company that uses ethically traded cotton.

I feel that conscious consumption is incredibly important. Fashion is one of those industries that still needs to catch up with the demands of modern conscious consumers. It’s also a good place to start if you’re new to conscious consumption — swapping out your clothes for some new ones, that are both sustainable and ethical. I was a model in the 80’s, and I’m pleased to see an increase in awareness around the way apparel is made.
